Allows you to enable or disable Intel

Rapid Start Technology. Conguration options:

The following items appear only when you set the Intel

Rapid Start Technology to

Entry on S3 RTC Wake [Enabled]
The system automatically wakes up and set to Rapid Start Technology S4
mode. Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled
Entry After [x]
Allows you to set the wake‑up time.The values range from 0 (immediately)
to 120.
Active Page Threshold Support [Enabled]
The system automatically set itself to sleep when the partition size is
not enough for Rapid Start Technology to work. Conguration options:
[Enabled] [Disabled]
Active Memory Threshold [0]
Key in the value for the additional partition size for Rapid Start Technology
to work.
Ensure that the caching partition size is larger than the total memory size.
Hybrid Hard Disk Support [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable hybrid hard disk support. Conguration
options: [Enabled] [Disabled]

ICST Configuration [Disabled]
Allows you to enable or disable the ISCT conguration. Conguration options:
[Enabled] [Disabled]
2.6.4 SATA Configuration
While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA Port items show Not Present if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA
port.
SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[Disabled] Disables the SATA function.
[IDE] Set to [IDE] when you want to use the Serial ATA hard disk drives as
Parallel ATA physical storage devices.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
