Linux Automated Installer:
Linux Automated Installer might fail with secure boot on SLES15 SP3
Before running the installer, all existing *bnx* packages must be removed first. Run the
following commands before install
rm /tmp/ansible.*
bash uninstall.sh
rpm -qa | grep bnx | rpm -e
Major issues resolved
Additional bug fixes and improvements are also part of this release.
1. Call traces may be observed while executing a core dump and simultaneously updating the
number of virtual functions (DCSG01470200)
Known issues
1. Promiscuous mode ignored when using OVS/DPDK with Truflow enabled for matches without
outer only L2 data (DCSG01078729)
2. Firmware may crash while looping artificial error injection, triggering error recover during
ib_send_bw IO on RoCE LAG (DCSG01327305)
3. FIO app may hang while running NVMEoF RDMA stress with 1500 MTU and Thor &
ConnectX-6 connected back to back (DCSG01336865)
4. Some packets may be dropped in extreme mixed IO stress scenarios with SRIOV and
transparent VLAN enabled (DCSG01479220)
Usage and Release folder structure
bnxtnvm:
Tool used for updating NVRAM, including firmware updates and configuration
parameters. Versions supplied for Linux, Linux_aarch64, FreeBSD, Windows and ESXi.
The bnxtnvm tool for different OS versions is available in the Firmware tab.
