5.2 NVIDIA

RAID congurations
The motherboard includes a high performance SATA RAID controller integrated in
the NVIDIA
®
nForce Professional 2200 chip. The RAID controller supports RAID 0
and RAID 1 using the four independent Serial ATA channels.
5.2.1 Entering the NVIDIA
®
RAID Utility
To enter the NVIDIA
®
RAID Utility:
1. Restart the computer.
2. During POST, press <F10> to display the utility main menu.
The SATA ports are called channels that are associated with adapters. The rst
digit in the Location eld denes the adapter that the SATA port is associated with.
The 2nd digit denes the channel. The M eld, That are used to specify Master or
Slave, is obsolete.
At the bottom section of the screen are the navigation keys. These keys allow you
to move through and select menu options.
