PCI Express™ interface
The motherboard fully supports PCI Express, the latest I/O interconnect
technology that speeds up the PCI bus. PCI Express features point-to-point serial
interconnections between devices and allows higher clockspeeds by carrying data
in packets. This high speed interface is software compatible with existing PCI
specications. See page 1-22 for details.
PCI Express 2.0 support
This motherboard supports the latest PCIe 2.0 devices for double speed and
bandwidth which enhances system performance.
6-channel High denition audio
The onboard 6-channel ALC662 High Denition audio CODEC enables high-quality
audio which automatically detects peripherals plugged into the audio I/O jacks.
