Windows Live
Windows Live on your device is an instant messaging program that allows
you to:
See who among your contacts is online and chat with them by sending
and receiving instant messages.
Access your hotmail account, if you have one, and send and receive
e-mails.
To use Windows Live:
You must have a Microsoft Passport™ account or a Microsoft Exchange
e-mail account.
You must have a Passport to use the MSN Messenger Service. If you have
a Hotmail
®
or MSN account, you already have a Passport. Once you have
obtained either a Microsoft Passport or Microsoft Exchange account, you
are ready to set up your account.
Sign up for a Microsoft Passport account at http://www.passport.com.
Get a free Microsoft Hotmail e-mail address at http://www.hotmail.com.
4. Select your desired options. When done, tap
ok.
Signing up in Windows Live
1. Tap the Windows Live icon from
the Start menu..
OR
Tap > Programs > Windows
Live.
NOTE If you already use
MSN Messenger on
your computer, your
contacts will show
up on your device.
