3.3 Advanced menu
The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other
system devices.
NOTE: Be cautious when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items.
Incorrect eld values can cause the system to malfunction.
3.3.1 Platform Trust Technology
TPM Device Selection
This item allows you to select the TPM device. Conguration options: [dTPM] [PTT]
3.3.2 Trusted Computing
Security Device Support
This item allows you to enable or disable BIOS support for security devices.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
3.3.3 CPUConguration
The items in this menu show CPU-related information the BIOS automatically
detects.
NOTE: The items shown in the submenu may be different depending on the
type of CPU installed.
CPUPowerManagementConguration
This item allows you to manage and congure the CPU’s power.
EIST
This item allows you to enable or disable Intel SpeedStep technology.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Turbo Mode
This item allows you to enable or disable Turbo Mode for your processor.
Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
CPU C states
[Enabled] Enables the CPU C states.
[Disabled] Disables the CPU C states.
Enhanced C-states
[Enabled] Enables enhanced C1E state.
[Disabled] Disables enhanced C1E state.
