European Union Eco-label
This Notebook PC has been awarded the EU Flower label, which
means that this product has the following characteristics:
1. Decreased energy consumption during use and stand-by
modes.
2. Limited use of toxic heavy metals.
3. Limited use of substances harmful to the environment and
health.
4. Reduction of the use of natural resources by encouraging
recycling.
5. Extended product lifetime through easy upgrades and
longer-time availability of spare parts.
6. Reduced solid waste through takeback policy.

回収とリサイクルについて
使用済みのコンピュータ、ノートパソコン等の電子機器には、環境に
悪影響を与える有害物質が含まれており、通常のゴミとして廃棄する
ことはできません。リサイクルによって、使用済みの製品に使用されて
いる金属部品、プラスチック部品、各コンポーネントは粉砕され新しい
製品に再使用されます。また、その他のコンポーネントや部品、物質も
正しく処分・処理されることで、有害物質の拡散の防止となり、環境を
保護することに繋がります。
