when sending and receiving messages.

You can send Short Message Service
(SMS) text messages.
1. From the application tray, touch

2. Touch to enter a recipient:
• Enter a phone number or a
contact name and touch .
• Touch 
and touch a contact from your
Contacts list.
3. Touch .
4. Enter the text message.
5. Touch
for additional options:
• Touch  to add
attachments such as media,
contacts or events.
• Touch to add a
subject line.
• Touch to add carbon-
copy recipients.
• Touch to place a phone
call.
• Touch to add
the number to your contacts list.
• Touch to view
the contact information for the
recipient, if available.
• Touch to discard the
text message without saving it.
• Touch to delete
the entire text thread.
6. Touch .
