In both the Infrastructure and the Ad-
Hoc types, ve icons display different
information on the current status of the
wireless network. The ve icons are:
Status,Cong,Survey,Statistics,and
Advance.
Clicking the icons allow you to
go through the property pages.
When the wireless conguration is in AP
mode, the
ICS
icon will be enabled.
If the wireless conguration is in AP mode, checking
Radio Off
will cause
the sub-network belonging to the AP to disconnect with the Internet/intranet.

When this item is checked, this will
enable you to switch to Microsoft
Windows
®
XP Wireless network
conguration service if you do not
prefer RtWLAN as your wireless LAN
manager.

Radio Off
When this item is checked, the radio
is turned off to save power. When the
radio is off, the links with other wireless network nodes are disconnected.

Disable Adapte

When this item is checked, the wireless LAN adapter is disabled to
increase performance in terms of better system resource management and
CPU utilization.
