3.5 Windows Zero Conguration
The
WindowsZeroConguration
is a wireless LAN service provided in
Microsoft Windows® XP. It provides basic and easy connection of the wireless
network. In this chapter, we introduce you the steps to swap between the
Windows Zero Conguration and the WiFi-AP Solo. If you prefer Windows Zero
Conguration instead through the WiFi-AP Solo, then you should follow the
steps in 3.5.1 to switch to Windows Zero Conguration. In addition, you could
rollback to WiFi-AP Solo by following the steps in 3.5.2.
3.5.1 Swap from WiFi-AP Solo to Windows Zero
Conguration
By default, the Windows Zero
Conguration is disabled after installing
the WiFi-AP Solo. You can enable it by
checking the
WindowsZeroCong
item on the global control bar. A dialog
box will appear. Click
OK
for swap
conrmation.
After opening your wireless network,
you will see thisgure, which means
that the swap to Windows Zero
Conguration is successful. Otherwise,
repeat the steps previously given.
