CPU VRM Switching Frequency
This item allows you to set the VRM switching frequency. VRM switching frequency
affects transient response and VRM component temperatures. Congure a higher
switching frequency for better transient response at the expense of higher VRM
temperatures. Active cooling of the VRM heatsink is recommended when running high
CPU voltage and high load-line calibration values.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Manual]
DO NOT remove the VRM heatsink.
The following item appears when you set CPU VRM Switching Frequency to [Manual].
Fixed CPU VRM Switching Frequency(KHz)
Allows you to set the VRM switching frequency manually. The switching
frequency will affect the VRM transient response and the component thermal
production. Congure a higher frequency for a quicker transient respond speed.
Use the <+> and <-> keys to adjust the value.
Conguration options: [250] [300] [350] [400] [450] [500]
CPU Power Duty Control
Allows you to adjusts the duty cycle of each VRM phase based upon current and/or
temperature. Conguration options: [T.Probe] [Extreme]
[T.Probe] Sets the buck controller to balance VRM FET
temperatures.
[Extreme] Sets the buck controller to balance per phase current.
DO NOT remove the thermal module when setting this item to [Extreme]. The thermal
conditions should be monitored.
CPU Power Phase Control
Allows you to set the power phase control of the CPU.
Conguration options: [Auto] [Standard] [Extreme]
[Standard] The number of active phases is controlled by the CPU.
[Extreme] Sets to the full phase mode.
DO NOT remove the thermal module when setting this item to [Extreme]. The thermal
conditions should be monitored.
CPU VRM Thermal Control
When this item is set to [Disabled], the temperature limit of the CPU VRM will be
increased. Conguration options: [Auto] [Disabled] [Enabled]
Internal CPU Power Management
The sub-items in this menu allow you to set the Internal CPU Power Managemnt features.
Use the <+> or <-> keys to adjust the value, or key in [Auto] and press the <Enter> key to
apply the optimized setting for each of the sub-items below.
