Setup Mode
Allows you to select the default setup mode of the BIOS after POST.
Conguration options: [Advanced Mode] [EZ Mode]
Boot Sector (MBR/GPT) Recovery Policy
Allows you to select the Boot Sector Policy.
Conguration options: [Auto Recovery] [Local User Control]
[Auto Recovery] Follows UEFI Rule.
[Local User Control] Allows you to enter setup page and select Boot Sector (MBR/
GPT) Recovery Policy to recovery MBR/GPT on the next boot
time.
The following item appears only when you set Boot Sector (MBR/GPT) Recovery Policy
to [Local User Control].
Next Boot Recovery Action
Allows you to select the (MBR/GPT) recovery action on the next boot. When
[Recovery] is selected, a conrmation message appears. Select [Yes] is you wish to
run Boot Sector recovery process on the next boot, or [No] to cancel.
Conguration options: [Skip] [Recovery]
Please note that the current GPT header will not be able to restore back after the
recovering process!
Boot Option Priorities
These items specify the boot device priority sequence from the available devices. The
number of device items that appears on the screen depends on the number of devices
installed in the system.
• To access Windows
®
OS in Safe Mode, press <F8 > after POST (Windows
®
8 not
supported).
• To select the boot device during system startup, press <F8> when ASUS Logo
appears.
Boot Override
These items display the available devices. The number of device items that appear on the
screen depends on the number of devices installed in the system. Click an item to start
booting from the selected device.
