PA32U Firmware Update Procedures
1. Whenthere’snewerversionofrmwareavailableonASUSwebsite,followthe
proceduresbelowtoupdateyourmonitor.Makesurethatthepowersupplyis
stableandtheUSBdriveispluggedinduringthewholeprocess.
2. DownloadandextractthelastestrmwareletotherootdirectoryofaUSB2.0
drive.(Filesystem:FAT32.)
3. RemovetheUSBcoverandinserttheUSBdriveintotheUSB 2.0 A-typeportat
thebackofthemonitor.
4. Pressbothbuttonsabovethepowerbuttonsimultaneouslyandthemonitorstarts
updatingrmware.Ifyouhaveapowerfailureduringrmwareupdate,themonitor
willstoptheprocessandturnoff.Afterpowerresumes,themonitorwillcontinue
rmwareupdateandrebootitselfwithin5minutes.Contactyourlocalservice
centerifyouencounteranyproblem.
Updating software.
Do not turn off power until the
finishing message appears.
Software update completed.
Plaese switch AC power on/off
once before using monitor.
5. Afterthefirmwareupdatecompletes,switchoffthemonitor.
6. TurnonthemonitorandresetallsettingsviatheSystemSetupmenu.TheOSD
menusettingswillberestoredtofactorydefaults.Checkthefirmwareversioninthe
SystemSetup>Informationmenu.
