Chapter 3: BIOS setup
To set a user password:
1. Select the User Password item and press <Enter>.
2. From the Create New Password box, key in a password, then press <Enter>.
3. Conrm the password when prompted.
To change a user password:
1. Select the User Password item and press <Enter>.
2. From the Enter Current Password box, key in the current password, then press <Enter>.
3. From the Create New Password box, key in a new password, then press <Enter>.
4. Conrm the password when prompted.
To clear a user password:
1. Select the Clear User Password item and press <Enter>.
2. Select Yes from the Warning message window then press <Enter>.
3.5.3 Secure Boot
Secure Boot feature is active when Secure Boot is set to [Enabled], Platform Key
(PK) is enrolled and the system is running in User mode. Changing the mode
requires platform reset. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
Secure Boot Mode
Allows you to select Secure Boot Mode. When set to [Custom], Secure Boot Policy
variables can be congured by a physically present user without full authentication.
Conguration options: [Standard] [Custom]
Key Management
Allows you to modify Secure Boot Policy variables without full authentication.
Platform Key (PK)
Conguration options: [Update]
Key Exchange Keys / Authorized Signatures
Conguration options: [Update] [Append]
Forbidden Signatures
Conguration options: [Update] [Append]
3.6 Boot menu
The items in the Boot menu allow you to change the system boot options.
BootConguration
CHASSIS INTRUDE
Allows you to enable or disable CHASSIS INTRUDE. Conguration options:
[Disabled] [Enabled]
