Package Power Time Window
This item is an Intel parameter known as [power limit 1] and specied in seconds. The
applied value indicates how long the Turbo ratio can be active when TDP is exceeded.

Short Duration Package Power Limit
This item is an Intel parameter known as “power limit 2” and specied in Watts. It is
the second Intel power limit which provides protection when package power exceeds
power limit 1. The default setting is 1.25 times power limit 1. According to Intel, the
platform must support this value for up to 10msec when power consumption exceeds
power limit 2. ASUS motherboards are engineered to support this duration for a longer
time as required to facilitate overclocking. Conguration options: [Auto] [1] – [4095]
Dual Tau Boost
This item allows you to enable Dual Tau Boost feature. This is only applicable for
Desktop 35W/65W/125W sku. When DPTF is enabled, this feature is ignored.
