8.4 Q-Fan Conguration
Q-fan Tuning
Select this item and press <Enter>, a popup window appears. Click the Ok button to allow the
system to automatically detect the lowest speed and congure the minimum duty cycle for
each fan.
The tuning progress may take 2 to 5 minutes, DO NOT shut down or reset your system
during this process.
CPU Q-Fan Control
Allows you to set the CPU Q-Fan control mode.
Conguration options: [Auto Detect] [DC Mode] [PWM Mode]
[Auto Detect] Detects the type of CPU fan installed and automatically switches
the control modes.
[DC Mode] Enables the Q-Fan control in DC mode for 3-pin fan.
[PWM Mode] Enables the Q-Fan control in PWM mode for 4-pin fan.
CPU Fan Profile
Allows you to select the appropriate performance level for the assigned fan.
Conguration options: [Standard] [Silent] [Turbo] [Full Speed] [Manual]
If you wish to set CPU FAN Prole to [Manual], we suggest raising your fan/pump duty
to 100% if your CPU temperature exceeds 75°C. Please be noted CPU performance will
throttle due to overheating with inefcient fan/pump duty.
The following items will not appear if you set CPU Fan Prole to [Full Speed].
CPU Fan Step Up/Down
These items allow you to set the values of the CPU fan step up/down. Conguration
options: [0 sec] [2.1 sec] [2.8 sec] [3.6 sec] [4.2 sec] [5.0 sec] [6.3 sec] [8.5 sec] [12
sec] [25 sec]
