Boot from Network Devices
Allow you to select the type of the onboard LAN controllers and installed LAN cards.
Network devices will run the selected type during the system boot. Set this item to
[Ignore] if you wish to accelerate the boot up time without running network devices
during POST. Conguration options: [Ignore] [UEFI only] [Legacy only]
Boot from Storage Devices
Allow you to select the type which the storage devices will run rst during the system
boot. Set this item to [Ignore] if you wish to accelerate the boot up time without running
storage devices during POST. It is recommended to select either [Legacy only] or
[UEFI only] by the devices specication for a better stability.
Conguration options: [Ignore] [UEFI only] [Legacy only]
Boot from PCI-E/PCI Expansion Devices
Allow you to select the type the PCI-E/PCI Expansion devices will run rst during the
system boot. Conguration options: [Ignore] [UEFI only] [Legacy only]
9.2 Secure Boot
This item allows you to congure the Windows
®
Secure Boot settings and manage its keys to
protect the system from unauthorized access and malwares during POST.
OS Type
Allows you to select your installed operating system.
Conguration options: [Other OS] [Windows UEFI mode]
[Other OS]
Select this option to get the optimized functions when booting on
Windows
®
non-UEFI mode and Microsoft secure boot only non-
compliant systems.
[Windows UEFI mode]
Executes the Microsoft secure boot check. Only select this option
when booting on Windows
®
UEFI mode or other Microsoft secure boot
compliant operating system.
The Microsoft secure boot can only function properly on Windows
®
UEFI mode.
Secure Boot Mode
Allows you to select the Secure Boot mode. In Cutom mode, Secure Boot Policy variables
can be congured by a physically present user without full authentication.
