10 Tool menu
The Tool menu items allow you to congure options for special functions. Select an item then
press <Enter> to display the submenu.
ASUS EZ Flash 3 Utility
Allows you to update your BIOS.
For more details, refer to the section 12.2 ASUS EZ Flash 3.
• DO NOT shut down or reset the system while updating the BIOS to prevent system
boot failure!
• We recommend that you update the BIOS le only coming from the same memory/
CPU conguration and BIOS version.

BIOS Image Rollback Support
Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
[Enabled] Supports roll back your BIOS to a previous version, but this setting violates
the NIST SP 800-147 requirement.
[Disabled] Only supports update your BIOS to a newer version, and this setting meets
the NIST SP 800-147 requirement.

ASUS Secure Erase
SSD speed performance may degrade over time due to accumulated les and frequent data-
writing. Secure Erase completely cleans your SSD and restores it to factory default settings.
