11. System Panel connector
TheSystemPanelconnectorsupportsseveralchassis‑mountedfunctions.
• SystemPowerLEDconnector(PLED)
The2‑pinconnectorallowsyoutoconnecttheSystemPowerLED.TheSystem
PowerLEDlightsupwhenthesystemisconnectedtoapowersource,orwhenyou
turnonthesystempower,andblinkswhenthesystemisinsleepmode.
• StorageDeviceActivityLEDconnector(HDLED)
The2‑pinconnectorallowsyoutoconnecttheStorageDeviceActivityLED.The
StorageDeviceActivityLEDlightsuporblinkswhendataisreadfromorwrittentothe
storagedeviceorstoragedeviceadd‑oncard.
• SystemWarningSpeakerconnector(SPEAKER)
The 4-pin connector allows you to connect the chassis-mounted system warning
speaker. The speaker allows you to hear system beeps and warnings.
• PowerButton/Soft-offButtonconnector(PWRBTN)
The 3-1 pin connector allows you to connect the system power button. Press the
powerbuttontopowerupthesystem,orputthesystemintosleeporsoft‑offmode
(dependingontheoperatingsystemsettings).
• Resetbuttonconnector(RESET)
The 2-pin connector allows you to connect the chassis-mounted reset button. Press
the reset button to reboot the system.
