2.6.5 PCH Conguration
This item allows you to congure the PCI Express conguration settings.
PCI Express Conguration
PCIe Speed [Auto]
Allows you to congure the PCIe speed. Conguration options: [Auto] [Gen1] [Gen2] [Gen3]
IOAPIC 24-119 Entries [Enabled]
This item allows you to enable/disable IOAPIC 24‑199 Entries to expand to PIRQI‑PIRQX.
Conguration options: [Enabled] [Disabled]
2.6.6 PCH Storage Conguration
While entering Setup, the BIOS automatically detects the presence of SATA devices. The
SATA Port items show Empty if no SATA device is installed to the corresponding SATA port.
Hyper Kit Mode [Disabled]
Disables this option for M.2 devices. Enables this option for ASUS Hyper Kit card.
Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
SATA Controller(s) [Enabled]
Enables or disables onboard the SATA device. Conguration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The following items appear only when you set the SATA Controller(s) to [Enabled].
SATA Mode Selection [AHCI]
Allows you to set the SATA conguration.
[AHCI] Set to [AHCI] when you want the SATA hard disk drives to use the AHCI
(Advanced Host Controller Interface). The AHCI allows the onboard storage
driver to enable advanced Serial ATA features that increases storage
performance on random workloads by allowing the drive to internally
optimize the order of commands.
[RAID] Set to [RAID Mode] when you want to create a RAID conguration from the
SATA hard disk drives.
The following items appear only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to [RAID].
M.2 PCIE Storage RAID Support [Disabled]
Enable this item to remap PCIE port to SATA for RAID support. Only six SATA ports
will remain when enabling this item.
The following items appear only when you set the SATA Mode Selection to [RAID] and
M.2 PCIE Storage RAID Support to [Enabled].
CR#1-Remap Port Selection [Auto]
This item allows you to select port for RST Pcie Storage Remapping. Conguration
options: [Auto] [Port 9] [Port 10] [Port 11] [Port 12]
