prescribed amount of time and will display the
message: "Connecting with remote device
failed."
Disable Send/receive files without displaying any messages.
Set
password
(OBEX)
Selecting [Set password (OBEX authentication)] will
enable you to set a password.
When you have set a password, a window requesting the
password for authentication will appear when file transfer
is attempted.
File transfer will only proceed if your password has been
entered correctly.
Show the
other's
password
entry
screen
when
connected
The "Show the other's password entry screen when
connected" option becomes available when you select the
"Set password (OBEX authentication)" option. If this
option is enabled, a password-basis authentication screen
appears when you receive a connection request from
other devices and you need to enter a password used to let
the other device perform the OBEX authentication
password checking. If this option is disabled, no
passward-basis authentication screen appears and the
password that you set in "Set password (OBEX
authentication)" is automatically used.
Note
• You do not need to enable this option for
connection between Bluetooth Utilities.
