Additionally, you can use UPnP/DLNA compatible applications on your mobile device (for
example, a notebook, iPhone or iPad) to stream multimedia files from your NAS.
You only need to have your multimedia files stored in the shared folders
“Media” or “Music” to be able to broadcast them. UPnP Multimedia
Server will automatically scan designated directories for supported
multimedia files.
UPnP Multimedia Server currently only supports on-the-fly transcoding for
photos and music.
Reminder: The media formats that are playable may vary between devices.
