Flashes Rapidly
Problem
This indicates that the firmware could be corrupt and needs
to be reprogrammed. Please contact @Road Customer
Satisfaction if the problem persists.
COM LIGHT
On
Good
This indicates that wireless modem is functioning properly;
this may take a few minutes to occur.
Off
Problem
Possible causes are:
- The wireless antenna is not working
- There is no wireless coverage
- Wireless service has not been established
Flashes Rapidly
Problem
This indicates that the wireless modem has found an iDEN
network
and is in the process of packet data registration.
If this condition lasts longer than 1 minute, there may be a
problem.
Possible causes are:
- Unit is trying to register for the first time out of its pre-
assigned
region
- Device is not provisioned for Packet Data Services
- Other network or provisioning error
GPS LIGHT
On
Good
This indicates GPS is working properly.
This takes a few minutes to occur.
Off
Problem
GPS does not have position.
Light should turn on or flash in a few minutes.
If light does not change, GPS antenna may not be working.
Flashes Slowly
Problem
Unit is initializing. Normally this occurs only when the unit is
powered on for the first time.
Please allow 15 minutes for complete initialization
DO NOT MOVE the vehicle during this process or the
functionality of the unit may be impaired.
Flashes Rapidly
Problem
GPS firmware not loaded.
Load GPS firmware using OTAP or Gruntmaster.
