Telephone base indicator lights
Handset alert tones
1 short beep
A key is pressed.
Plays at the end of each message playback.

1 long beep
Beginning or end of recording.
Plays at the end of all messages playback.

2 short beeps
Error tone. The command has failed.
You have reached the beginning or end of the list.
You have reached the minimum or maximum listening
volume.

3 short beeps
The handset is out of range or there is no power at the
telephone base.
3 short high-pitched beeps
Confirmation tone. The telephone has completed the
command successfully.
4 short beeps Low battery warning.
Telephone base alert tones
One short beep Plays at the end of each message playback.
Beeps every 10 seconds Message alert tone is on and there are new messages.
One long beep
Call screening is on and the answering system is about to
record a message.
Plays at the end of all messages playback.

/ANS ON/OFF light
On when the built-in answering system is on.
IN USE light
On when the handset is in use, when the answering
system is answering an incoming call or when the
answering system is being accessed remotely.
On when a handset is being registered.
Flashes slowly when another telephone on the same line is

Flashes quickly when there is an incoming call.
