Assigning Ports to DGC Groups
To answer trunks or to provide Call Coverage, ports must be members of DGC
Groups. Use the procedure below to assign ports to DGC groups.
Assign VMS ports to DGC groups for Call Coverage. Assign the calling group to ring
at the DGC groups for Fax Response.
✏ NOTE:
You cannot combine tip/ring and VMS ports in a DGC Group.
To assign ports to DGC groups, follow these steps:

At the Main Menu, select DGC.
At DGC=, enter the DGC group number (from 1- 32).
At Action=, enter 1.
At Data=, enter the DGC group access code.
■ Action 11 lists the extensions already assigned.
■ Action 12 adds an extension.
■ Action 13 deletes an extension.
■ Action 14 allows you to enter the Display ID for the group.
Using the Advanced Administration Software:

At the Main Menu, select Groups.
At the Groups menu, select Direct Group Calling.
Enter the access number and press [
F3 ] (SUBMIT).
To add a member:
a. At Access Number Press [ ENTER ].
b.
Enter the extension.
c.
Press [ F3 ] (SUBMIT) twice.
