System 25 Initial Implementation
Administering Call Coverage
The Call Coverage feature of the System 25 Communications System is used to
redirect calls made to a busy or unanswered telephone, fax machine, or Private Fax
Extension. The redirected calls go to a DGC group that is connected to a voice port.
If the call was to a fax extension, the Fax Call Answer service receives the call and
either holds the fax message or sends it to a printer or fax machine. To use the Fax
Call Answer service, you must administer the following items:
DGC Call Coverage Receiver Groups
Call Coverage Ringing Options
Administering DGC Call Coverage Receiver Groups
For any port to provide Call Coverage, the port must be put into a DGC group. This
DGC group will receive Call Coverage calls. When you administer each extension,
assign this DGC group to provide coverage for that extension.
To assign ports to a DGC Call Coverage Receiver Groups, follow these steps:

From the Main Menu, select PDC.
At PDC=, enter the PDC (Personal Dial Code or extension) for which you are
assigning coverage.

At Data=, enter the DGC group number plus 100.
Press [
DELETE
] to exit.
Using Advanced Administration System:
1.
For each extension, go to the Class of Service menu.
2.
Enter the DGC group number plus 100 in the Group Coverage Number field.
