3.

switch to Fax Mail.)
Remotely Accessing Voice/Fax Mail
(Optional Administration)
If you do not have DID (Direct Inward Dial) service and do not have any trunks
assigned to ring in DGC groups (discussed earlier), registered FAX Attendant
subscribers calling from outside the organization can still access Voice Mail through
the System 25 Remote Access feature.
There are several ways to access Voice Mail:
Call your voice extension and wait for the Call Answer greeting message to
play. Press [
* ], [ R ] to access Voice Mail.
If your organization has Automated Attendant service, call into the Automated
Attendant number customers use to reach this service. While the Automated
Attendant menu plays, press [
* ], [ R ] to access Voice Mail.
Call your organization’s number and have the human attendant transfer you to
Voice Mail.
To access Fax Mail, press [
8 ] at the Voice Mail activity menu.
It is also possible to provide remote access to Voice Mail by using the Remote Trunk
Access feature of System 25. See the System 25 documentation for more
information.
