Passwords & accounts
Set up and manage all of your passwords and accounts, including your
Google Account and other social networking accounts, through the
Passwords & accounts settings menu.
Passwords
Tap to access Password Manager. When you save a password to Google
Password Manager, you’ll find it here.
1. Tap Settings in the top right corner to manage Password Manager
settings.
• Offer to save passwords: Slide the switch to the On position to allow
offers to save passwords in Android and Chrome.
• Auto sign-in: Slide the switch to the On position to automatically sign
in to websites using stored credentials. If disabled, you will be asked for
confirmation every time before signing in to a website.
• Password alerts: Slide the switch to the On position to allow and
Google will notify you when your saved passwords are found online.
• Export passwords: Make a copy of your passwords to use with another
service.
• Add shortcut to your home screen: Tap to add Google Password
Manager to your home screen.
2. Tap Add more to add sites and apps to the list of sites and apps that
you’ve chosen not to save passwords for.
