Battery installation and charging Install the battery as shown on the following page. Once you have installed the battery, the screen indicates the battery status (see the table below). If necessary, place the handset in the charger to charge the battery. For best performance, keep the handset in the charger when not in use. The battery is fully charged after 11 hours of continuous charging. See the table on the Technical specification page in the user’s manual for battery operating times.

Adding and registering a handset You must register this MS2025 cordless handset with the MS2085 console or MS2015 deskset before use. Each MS2085 or MS2015 supports only one cordless handset. When first purchased, the handset shows Choose Handset in Registration at base menu. And put handset on cradle to register. If the handset does not have enough power to proceed with the registration, you need to charge the new handset for at least five minutes (see Battery installation and charging on pages 6-7).
