Reviewing Messages with the Cordless Handset
To review messages:
1. Press to begin Voicemail message playback. The message begins playing,
as shown below.
Once message playback starts:
 The soft key becomes .
 The message progress bar indicates how much of the message has played.
 The message timer displays the remaining time, in seconds, of message
playback.
 Press SPEAKER to hear message playback through the speaker.
 Press  to jump back eight seconds.
 Press  to jump forward eight seconds.
 Press  to play the previous message.
 Press  to play the next message.
2. Press PHONE to exit message playback and call the phone number from the
message.
3. Press to return to Idle mode.

For outside phone numbers in Voicemail and CID lists, Synapse dials a 9 or
whatever digit, if any, that must be dialed first and then dials the number in
the display. Therefore, numbers that need editing (adding a preceding 1 or
a country code, or removing the area code) cannot be dialed from Voicemail.
