Setting and Changing a User Password
If you create a password, you will need to enter it before accessing User Settings, Voicemail, and the WebUI.
 To set, change or clear your password:

1. Call Appearance mode—Press MENU, then 2, and then 7 to display the Password
screen shown in Figure 299.
Line Appearance mode—Press then 2, and then 4 to display the Password screen.
2. To set or change your password, press 1.
 Use the dial pad to enter a password of up to six digits.
 To correct errors, press , or to start over, press .
 Press the navigation key and enter the new password again.
 To accept the change, press . The Password Saved screen appears,
then the User Settings menu appears.
3. To clear your password, press 2.
 Press to confirm that you want to clear your password. The
Password screen appears. Once the password has been cleared, password
entry is no longer necessary for User Settings, Voicemail and the WebUI.
