Getting started
Dial mode
The dial mode is preset to
tone dialing. If you have pulse
(rotary) service, you must
change the dial mode to
pulse dialing before using the
headset.
To set the dial mode:
Click the
SETTINGS panel.
Click the Landline tab.
Click q in the Dial mode drop down menu.
Click Touch-tone or Pulse.
Click APPLY to confirm.
No line alert display
If there is no line connected
to the headset base, the
LANDLINE status bar in the
SOFTPHONE panel displays
Check telephone line.
You can enable or disable the
alert message.
Click the
SETTINGS panel.
Click the Landline tab.
Click q in the No line alert display drop down menu.
Click Enable or Disable.
Click APPLY to confirm.

If you dial seven digits to make a
local call (no area code required),
enter your area code into the
telephone as the home area code.
When you receive a call from
within your home area code, the
caller ID history only displays the
seven digits of the telephone
