Boost
e ‘boost’ setting is used to cook at maximum power for a short
period of time.  is setting is the setting after number 9.
Switching on ‘boost’
1. Put a pan on a big cooking zone.
2. Turn the knob of the cooking zone clockwise, further than
setting 9.
A “P” appears in the display.
Two cooking zones one in front of the other
Two cooking zones one in front of the other eff ect each other. When
both of these cooking zones are switched on at the same time, the
power is automatically shared between them. Up to setting 9, this
does not have any consequences. If, however, you set the large cooking
zone to ‘boost’, the small cooking zone cannot be set higher than 7.
Otherwise, a small cooking zone at a high setting will automatically
reduce to setting 7 if you set the large cooking zone to ‘boost’.
Two cooking zones alongside each other have no eff ect on each other.
You can set the large cooking zone to ‘boost’ and the small cooking
zone alongside also to a high setting.
Residual heat indicator
If a cooking zone has been used intensively it will retain heat for
several minutes afterwards.
As long as the cooking zone is still hot an “H” will be visible in the
display.
