Temperature display
The average temperature in the refrigerator compartment is
displayed in normal mode.
If "
F0" to "F5" appears in the display, the appliance has a fault.
Consult the customer service department indicating the fault
number displayed, so that they can arrange for your appliance to
be serviced accurately and quickly.

W To switch on: Press the Fast-Cooling button 4 briey so that
it lights up. The refrigerator temperature will drop to its lowest
value.

6 - 12 hours, however, the appliance switches back
automati-
cally
to normal energy-saving operation.
W Avoid prolonged skin contact with cold surfaces or chilled/frozen
food. This could cause pain, numbness and frostbite. In the
case of prolonged skin contact, protective measures should
be taken, e.g. gloves should be worn.
W Do not eat ice cream, particularly ice lollies or ice cubes, imme-
diately after taking them from the freezer compartment as there
is a risk of "burning" because of the very cold temperatures.
W Do not consume food which has been stored for too long, as
it could cause food poisoning.
Installation and ventilation information
W Avoid positioning in direct sunlight or next to an oven,
radiator or similar.
W Do not block the ventilation areas. Always en-
sure that the appliance is properly ventilated.

the appliance is located in the event of a leak in the refrigerant
circuit. The quantity of refrigerant used in your appliance is
indicated on the type plate on the inside of the appliance.
W Only install the refrigerator/freezer in stable furniture.

Notes on energy saving

W Open the appliance doors for as short a time as possible.
W The lower the temperature setting, the higher the power
consumption.
W Arrange the food in an organised way (see Appliance at a
glance). Do not exceed stated storage periods.
W Remove food as needed in order that it does not warm too
much.
W Store all food well packed and covered, this avoids frost from
forming.
W Allow hot food to cool down to room temperature before plac-
ing inside the appliance.
W Allow frozen food to defrost inside the fridge.
W If an ice layer forms in the freezer compartment*, you should
defrost it. This will improve the cold transfer and reduce energy
consumption.
