Operation Manual

You can prevent smells by placing a bowl containing a
solution of sodium bicarbonate at the back of the r
efrigerator
section on the top shelf. Replace it every three months. A
bowl of bicarbonate of soda placed in the freezer section will
have the same effect.
d i s c h a r ge opening in the freezer section
Remove the bottom basket from the freezer section during
the annual cleaning session. Make a solution of one
teaspoonful of bicarbonate of soda and two cups of warm
water. Rinse the discharge opening with this. You will thereby
reduce the risk of the opening becoming blocked. If the
opening has already become blocked, rinse away the
blockage in the same way.
Always slide the fridge/freezer combination from the wall
carefully, to prevent damage to the floor (covering). Do not
pull or push the appliance to one side. Stand in front of the
appliance and pull it straight towards you. Afterwards, push
it straight back into place. Make sure you don't slide the
appliance over cables or over the icemaker's water supply
hose.
Clean the condenser under the fridge/freezer combination at
least twice a year.
1. Set the temperature control to .
2. Remove the base grille.
3. Remove all reachable dust by sweeping or using a
vacuum cleaner.
4. Replace the base grille.

cleaning under the fridge/freezer combination
Clean condenser twice a year.
Do not wipe the fridge/freezer combination with a
dirty dishcloth or a wet tea towel. They may leave
remnants which will damage the paint.
Treat "soft" handles regularly with wax, so that dirt
will not stick to them. Clean them with a damp cloth
and suds of a washing-up liquid.
protect the paint
The exterior of the fridge/freezer combination has
been finished with a high-quality metal paint. If you
look after it well, it will look like new for years.
refrigerator and freezer sections
Refrigerator and freezer sections should be cleaned
at least once a year.
Use a solution of one tablespoonful of bicarbonate
of soda and one litre of warm water. This cleans
and at the same time removes all smells.
Afterwards, rinse well with water and dry with a
soft cloth.
The rest of the fridge/freezer combination (including
door seals, meat and vegetable drawers, ice
container and all plastic parts) can be cleaned in
the same way.
Do not use any aggressive cleansing agents, such
as abrasives, scourers, bleach or cleansing agents
which contain bleach.
