Turn the selector control until the
symbol you want is in line with the
mark. You can select:
: fan assisted
: conventional
: bottom heat
: maxigrill
: standard grill
You can select the temperature for
baking, roasting and grilling.
The position in the oven is given in the
r e c i p e .
When grilling, you can control the
intensity of the heat by positioning the
food further away from the element.
You can set the cooking time, or the
cooking time and the end time.
Do not open the oven door until the
end of the cooking time, otherwise
bread, cakes etc. may sink.
Turn the selector control and the
temperature control to 0.
Press the button (D).
The on/off indicator light comes on.
The indicator light for the thermostat
comes on. As soon as the oven
reaches the set temperature, the light
goes out. It comes on again whenever
the heating element cuts in.
If there are no instructions in the
recipe, position the food so that the
centre of the dish is in the centre of
the oven.

At the end of the set time you will hear
a signal. You can stop this by pressing
any button.
The indicator lights go out and the
oven is switched off.
The oven is set to manual operation.

If you use the oven for a prolonged
period, it may switch off automatically.
This is to prevent the control panel etc.
from getting too hot. Once it has cooled
down, the oven will automatically
switch on again.
You can also set the grill temperature
with the thermostat control. You will
usually want the highest setting
(275-28 °C).
Select a lower temperature (200-
225 °C) for grilling thicker pieces of
meat that require a longer cooking
t i m e .
Always grill with the oven door closed.
