Das Symbol auf dem Gerät bzw. auf dem Verpackungsmaterial weist darauf hin, dass es nicht über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden darf. Bedienelemente Menü 0 Der Backofen ist ausgeschaltet. Backofenbeleuchtung - Die Backofenbeleuchtung ist ohne Heizfunktion eingeschaltet. Ober-/ Unterhitze - Die Hitze wird von Heizelementen oben und unten erzeugt, so dass im gesamten Garraum eine gleichmäßige Temperatur herrscht. Oberhitze - Die Hitze kommt ausschließlich von dem Heizelement oben im Garraum (äußerer Abschnitt). Unterhitze - Die Hitze kommt ausschließlich vom Heizelement unten im Garraum.
Auftauen - Diese Einstellung eignet sich zum schonenden Auftauen von Tiefkühlkost. Betriebsanzeige Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet immer dann, wenn der Ofenfunktionsschalter nicht in Stellung “0” steht. Backofenthermostat Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler im Uhrzeigersinn, um Temperaturen zwischen 50°C und 250°C einzustellen. Thermostatanzeige für Backofentemperaturregelung Die Thermostatanzeige leuchtet immer dann, wenn am Ofen mit dem Temperaturregler eine Temperatur eingestellt wird.
Ventilator Der Ofen ist mit einem Ventilator ausgerüstet, der die Bedienungsblende, die Einstellknöpfe und den Griff der Ofentür kühlt. Der Ventilator schaltet sich automatisch ein, wenn der Ofen einige Minuten in Betrieb ist. Die warme Luft wird durch die Öffnung über der Ofentürgriff ausgeblasen. Nachdem der Backofen ausgeschaltet wurde, läuft der Ventilator möglicherweise noch weiter, um die Bedienelemente zu kühlen. Das ist normal.
Maßnahmen vor der ersten Benutzung des Backofens Entfernen Sie das gesamte Verpackungsmaterial innen und außen am Backofen, bevor Sie ihn in Betrieb nehmen. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch sollte der Backofen ohne Speisen geheizt werden. Dabei kann sich ein unangenehmer Geruch entwickeln. Das ist normal. Die Ursache sind Herstellungsrückstände. Der Raum, in dem sich der Backofen befindet, muss gut belüftet werden. Der Backofen funktioniert erst nach dem Einstellen der Uhrzeit. 1.

Der Backofen kann jedoch auch ohne Einstellen eines Programms betrieben werden.
So stellen Sie die Uhrzeit erneut ein: 1. Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT wiederholt, um die Funktion „Uhrzeit” auszuwählen. Die entsprechende Kontrolllampe beginnt zu blinken. Gehen Sie dann wie oben beschrieben vor. Die Uhrzeit kann nur zurückgesetzt werden, wenn keine automatische Funktion (Gardauer oder Garzeitende ) eingestellt ist. “Gardauer”-Funktion Bei Wahl dieser Funktion wird der Backofen automatisch nach Ablauf einer programmierten Gardauer ausgeschaltet.
So löschen Sie eine programmierte Gardauer: 1. Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT wiederholt, um die Funktion „Gardauer” auszuwählen. Die entsprechende Kontrolllampe beginnt zu blinken, und im Display wird die restliche Gardauer angezeigt. 2. Drücken Sie die Taste “ ”, bis das Display “0:00” anzeigt. Nach 5 Sekunden erlischt die Kontrolllampe, und auf dem Display wird wieder die Uhrzeit angezeigt.
So löschen Sie ein programmiertes Garzeitende: 1. Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT wiederholt, um die Funktion „Garzeitende” auszuwählen. Die entsprechende Kontrolllampe beginnt zu blinken, und auf dem Display wird das programmierte Garzeitende angezeigt. 2. Drücken Sie die Taste “ ”, bis das Display die aktuelle Uhrzeit anzeigt. Es wird ein akustisches Signal ausgegeben, und die Kontrolllampe erlischt.
“Kurzzeitwecker”-Funktion Das Kurzzeitsignal ertönt am Ende eines eingestellten Zeitraums; der Backofen bleibt jedoch eingeschaltet, falls er gerade benutzt wird. So stellen Sie den Kurzzeitwecker ein: 1. Drücken Sie die Taste SELECT wiederholt, um die Funktion „Kurzzeit” auszuwählen. Die entsprechende Kontrolllampe beginnt zu blinken. 2. Drücken Sie dann die Taste “ ” oder “ ” (max.: 2 Stunden, 30 Minuten). 3.
Gebrauch des Backofens Achtung! - Legen Sie den Backofen nicht mit Alufolie aus und stellen Sie keine Gegenstände (Backblech usw.) auf den Ofenboden, da sonst die Backofen-Emaille durch den entstehenden Hitzestau beschädigt wird. Stellen Sie Pfannen, hitzebeständige Töpfe und legen Sie AluFolien immer auf die in die Schienen eingeschobenen Roste. Beim Erhitzen von Speisen entsteht wie bei einem Wasserkessel Dampf.
Der Backofen hat vier Einschubebenen. Die Einschubpositionen werden vom Boden des Backofens aus gezählt (siehe Abbildung). Die Roste sind unbedingt, wie in der Abbildung gezeigt, ordnungsgemäß einzuschieben. Die Einschubebenen 2 und 4 sind mit Teleskopauszugsschienen ausgestattet. Dies vereinfacht das Einsetzen bzw. Herausziehen von Ofenrosten. 1. Ziehen Sie die rechten und linken Telekopauszugsschienen vollständig heraus (siehe Abbildung). 2. Setzen Sie das Ofenrost bzw.
Das Material und die Oberflächenbeschichtung von Backformen beeinflussen den Bräunungsvorgang von Backböden. Emaille, dunkles, schweres und teflonbeschichtetes Backgeschirr fördern das Bräunen, während Backgefäße aus Glas, glänzendem Aluminium oder poliertem Edelstahl Wärme reflektieren und es hemmen. Stellen Sie Speisen stets auf die Mitte der Backroste, um eine gleichmäßige Bräunung zu gewährleisten.
2. Drehen Sie den Temperaturschalter des Backofens auf die gewünschte Temperatur. Diese Funktion eignet sich besonders zum Backen von Kuchen- und Tortenböden sowie zum abschließenden Backen von Quiches bzw. Tortenböden, um zu gewährleisten, dass der Quiche- bzw. Kuchenboden durchgebacken ist. Grillen Zu grillende Speisen sollten immer auf den Rost des Grillblechs gestellt werden, damit die Luft optimal zirkulieren kann und die Speise nicht im abtropfenden Fett bzw. Grillsaft schwimmt.
Die Temperatur des Heizelements wird vom Thermostat geregelt. Während des Garens wird das Heizelement zum Vermeiden von Überhitzung regelmäßig aus- und eingeschaltet. Benutzung des Großflächengrills 1. Drehen Sie den Funktionsschalter des Backofens auf . 2. Drehen Sie den Temperaturschalter des Backofens auf die gewünschte Temperatur. 3. Schieben Sie Grillblech und Grillrost je nach Dicke/Höhe des Grillguts in die entsprechende Schiene ein.
Die Halter und die Spitze des Drehspießes sind spitz und scharf. Seien Sie im Umgang mit dem Drehspieß deshalb besonders vorsichtig. Setzen Sie am besten die Fettauffangwanne in die erste Schiene von unten ein, nachdem Sie zwei Tassen Wasser eingegossen haben. Benutzung der Funktion Infrabraten Drehen Sie den Backofeneinstellknopf auf und stellen Sie den Backofen-Thermostateinstellknopf auf die gewünschte Temperatur ein.
Natürlich können Sie den Ofen auch nur mit einer Ebene benutzen. In diesem Fall sollten Sie die unterste Schiene verwenden, so dass Sie den Backvorgang besser im Auge behalten können. Darüber hinaus eignet sich der Backofen besonders zum Sterilisieren von Eingemachtem, zum Kochen -selbstgemachter Konfitüre und zum Trocknen von Pilzen und Obst. Benutzung der Abtaufunktion 1. Geben Sie Speisen stets in Geschirr passender Größe, um ein Überlaufen auf den Ofenboden zu vermeiden und die Reinigung des Backofens zu erleichtern. Stellen Sie niemals Speisen, Büchsen oder Backgeschirr direkt auf den Ofenboden , da dieser sehr heiß wird und das Geschirr beschädigen kann. Zum Backen: Backgut erfordert gewöhnlich eine mittlere Temperatur (150°C-200°C). Daher sollte der Backofen ca. 10 Minuten lang vorgeheizt werden. Die Backofentür nicht öffnen, bevor 3/4 der Backzeit abgelaufen ist.

Reinigung und Pflege Vor dem Reinigen den Backofen ausschalten und abkühlen lassen. Das Gerät darf nicht mit einem Heißdampf- oder Dampfstrahlreiniger gereinigt werden. Der Backofen sollte immer sauber gehalten werden. Ablagerungen von Fett oder Lebensmittelresten können einen Brand auslösen, insbesondere in der Grillpfanne. Wichtig: Vor jeder Reinigungsarbeit das Gerät unbedingt spannungslos machen.
Reinigungsmittel Kontrollieren Sie vor der Verwendung von Reinigungsmitteln immer, ob diese für Ihren Ofen geeignet sind und vom Hersteller empfohlen werden. Reinigungsmittel, die Bleiche enthalten, sollten NIE verwendet werden, da sie die Oberflächenbehandlung stumpf werden lassen. Vermeiden Sie ebenso die Verwendung von Scheuermitteln.
Reinigung der Backofentür Diese Anweisungen beziehen sich auf die Backofentür, wie sie vom Hersteller geliefert wird. Falls die Backofentür auf Ihre Anfrage hin oder installationsbedingt gedreht wurde, müssen ebenfalls die Angaben rechts/links auf die jeweils andere Seite übertragen werden. Bauen Sie die beiden inneren Türscheiben aus, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen. Bitte die folgende Anweisung beachten. A Abb.

Falls die Glasscheibe Risse oder tiefe Kratzer aufweist, ist die Struktur des Glases beeinträchtigt und die Scheibe muss wegen des möglichen Risikos der Zersplitterung ersetzt werden. Ofenroste und Teleskopauszugsschienen Vergewissern Sie sich zuvor, dass der Herd abgekühlt und von der Stromversorgung getrennt ist. Die Rostauflagen sind zur Reinigung abnehmbar. Gehen Sie hierzu folgendermaßen vor: 1. Entfernen Sie die Vorderschraube und halten Sie dabei die Rostauflage mit der anderen Hand fest (siehe Abbildung). 2. Heben Sie den hinteren Haken heraus und entfernen Sie die Rostauflage. Verfahren Sie ebenso auf der anderen Seite des Ofens (siehe Abbildung).

Controls Oven functions 0 The oven is off. Oven light - The oven light will be on without any cooking function. Top and bottom heat - The heat comes from both the top and bottom element, ensuring even heating inside the oven. Top heat - The heat comes from the top of the oven only (outer section). Bottom heat - The heat comes from the bottom of the oven only. Low grill - The low grill can be used for grilling small quantities.
Mains on indicator The mains on light will come on when the oven function control knob is set. Oven thermostat Turn the thermostat control knob clockwise to select temperatures between 50°C and 250°C. Oven thermostat control indicator The thermostat control indicator will come on when the thermostat control knob is turned. The indicator will remain on until the correct temperature is reached. It will then cycle on and off to show the temperature is being maintained.
Before using the oven for the first time Remove all packaging, both inside and outside the oven, before using the oven. Before using for the first time, the oven should be heated up without food. During this time, an unpleasant odour may be emitted. This is absolutely normal. It is caused by manufacturing residues. Ensure the room is well ventilated. Using the oven Attention! - Do not place objects on the oven base and do not cover any part of the oven with aluminium foil while cooking, as this could cause a heat build-up which would affect the baking results and damage the oven enamel. Always place pans, heatresisting pans and aluminium trays on the shelf which has been inserted in the shelf runners.When food is heated, steam is created, like in a kettle.
The oven has four shelf levels. The shelf positions are counted from the bottom of the oven as shown in the diagram. It is important that these shelves are correctly positioned as shown in the picture. How to use turbo fan cooking The food is cooked by means of preheated air force blown evenly round the inside of the oven by a circular heating element set on the rear wall of the oven itself. Hot air is spread around the oven cavity by means of a fan. This means that you can simultaneously cook different types of foods positioned on the various oven shelves.
Hints and Tips The middle shelf position allows for the best heat distribution. To increase base browning simply lower the shelf position. To increase top browning, raise the shelf position. The material and finish of the baking trays and dishes used will affect base browning. Enamelware, dark, heavy or non-stick utensils increase base browning, while oven glassware, shiny aluminium or polished steel trays reflect the heat away and give less base browning.
On Roasting: Do not roast joints smaller than 1 kg. Smaller pieces could dry out when roasting. Dark meat, which is to be well done on the outside but remain medium or rare inside, must be roasted at a higher temperature (200°C-250°C). White meat, poultry and fish, on the other hand, require a lower temperature (150°C-175°C). The ingredients for a sauce or gravy should only be added to the roasting pan right at the beginning if the cooking time is short. Otherwise add them in the last half hour.

Cleaning and Maintenance Before cleaning switch the oven off and let it cool down. The appliance must not be cleaned with a superheated steam cleaner or a steam jet cleaner. The oven should be kept clean at all times. A build-up of fats or other foodstuffs could result in a fire, especially in the grill pan. Important: Before carrying out any cleaning operation, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.
