Plugthecharger(9)intoa120Vpoweroutlet.Ensurethatthecharger(9)isonaflatisonaflatsurface.
Insertthebattery(5)intothecharger(9).
Therecessofthebatteryterminalswillhaveafirmconnection.
Uponpropercontacttheredandgreenlightwillilluminateonthecharger(9).
Thebattery(5)willtake90minutestocharge.Chargingstartsautomatically.Removethebattery(5)from
thechargerafter90minutes.
NOTE:Iflightonthecharger(9)failstocomeon:
Checkthechargingadaptor(9)issecurelypluggedintothewalloutletandisswitchedon.
Checkthebattery(5)is firmlyseatedontothecharger(9).
InitialCharge
Whentheunitisoncharge the
redandgreenlightwillbeondisplay.
Thegreenlightwillappearonlywhenthebatteryisfullycharged.
Chargeyourbatteryfor90minutesthenuseit untilitrunsdownandonlyslowlyoperates.
Repeatthischargeanddischargeprocessapproximately45times,this
willensurethatthebatteryis
performingtoitshighestcapacity.
ImportantChargingNotes
Thechargerandbattery(5)maybecome warmtotouchwhilecharging.Thisisanormalcondition,and
doesnotindicateaproblem.
Usethechargeratnormalroomtemperaturewheneverpossible.Toprevent
overheating,donotcover
thechargeranddonotchargethebattery(5)indirectsunlightornearheatsources.
Ifthebattery(5)doesnotchargeproperly:
1. Checkcurrentatpoweroutletbyplugginginalamporotherappliance.
2. Ifchargingproblemspersist,havethecomplete
drillcheckedbyanelectricianorapowertoolrepairer.
NOTE:IfbatteryislowordeadanddisplaysgreenchargedLED,refertoThermalvoltageprotectionnotebelow.
