USB Peripheral Switch
Model: US-221
In response to the advent of USB 2.0 and the greater speed of connection
for our many peripherals, ATEN has developed the US-221 (2 port) and the
US-421 (4 port) USB 2.0 Peripheral Switches. These two peripheral sharing
devices enable 2 and 4 PCs to share a single USB peripheral on a one-at-a-
time basis using a simple hotkey, the front panel pushbutton, or Windows
AP control software to transfer peripheral control among actively
connected PCs. This is a perfect tool for today’s SOHO environment.
Features
• USB 2.0 compatible
• Enables 2/4 computers to share a single USB peripheral device
Hotkey, front panel pushbutton and Windows AP for simple port
selection
• Supports transfer rates of 1.5, 12 and 480 Mbps
Hot pluggable - USB devices can be attached and removed without
resetting the system
• LED indicators display port focus
• Overcurrent protection
• Beep indicates PC change and busy status
• Bus powered
• Plug and play
