COM Ports – Connections Page
If you have serial devices connected to the KN1108v / KN1116v serial ports,
these will appear as COM1 and COM 2 in the Sidebar tree.
Note: Use Cat 5e cable to connect the KN1108v / KN1116v’s Serial ports to
an SA0142 Adapter. Connect the Adapter’s serial connector to any
generic serial device. See Single Stage Installation Diagram, page 22.
The COM Ports Configuration Page
The COM1 / COM2 Port Configuration page is where the properties are set and
the associated links get made. To access this page, select the COM port on the
sidebar, then click Port Configuration (the menu item at the far right of the
menu bar). The following page appears:
