Montage sur bâti
Le PE6216/PE6324 peut être installé dans une confi guration 0U sur le côté d’un
rack. Pour monter l’appareil en rack, utilisez les supports de montage fournis avec
votre appareil. Les supports peuvent être montés soit près du haut et du bas du
panneau arrière, soit aux extrémités supérieure et inférieure de l’appareil.
Remarques : Pour des raisons de sécurité, l’eco PDU ne doit pas être installé
avec les prises d’alimentation orientées directement vers le haut ou vers le bas en
direction du sol et doit donc être installé avec les prises d’alimentation orientées vers
l’extérieur à partir d’une position verticale.

Installation du matériel

Pour chaque appareil que vous voulez connecter, utilisez son câble d’alimentation
pour le connecter de la prise CA de l’appareil à toute prise disponible sur l’eco PDU.

Branchez le câble qui relie l’eco PDU au LAN dans le port LAN de l’eco PDU.

Pour utiliser les capteurs dans votre installation d’eco PDU, connectez-les aux
ports de capteurs sur le panneau avant de l’unité.

Branchez le cordon d’alimentation de l’eco PDU à une source d’alimentation secteur.
Remarques : Nous vous recommandons fortement de ne pas brancher l’eco
PDU sur une multiprise ou avec une rallonge, car elle pourrait ne pas recevoir le
courant nécessaire à son bon fonctionnement.
Une fois que vous avez terminé cette procédure d’installation, allumez l’eco PDU
et les appareils connectés.

Sécurisation des câbles
Pour plus de sécurité, nous vous conseillons de fi xer tous les câbles en place avec les
supports de câbles ATEN Lock-U-Plug. Fixez les supports de câbles en utilisant les trous
spécialement conçus sur l’eco PDU autour des prises d’alimentation individuelles.
Fonctionnement
Les modèles eco PDU offrent trois modes d’accès et de gestion de votre installation :
Navigateur, eco DC (interface graphique Web de gestion de l’énergie et de l’ICD) et
SNMP.
Navigateur
eco PDU est accessible et contrôlable via n’importe quel navigateur Internet
supporté, depuis n’importe quelle plateforme.
Pour faire fonctionner l’eco PDU à partir d’un navigateur Internet, commencez par
vous connecter :

Dans un navigateur Web, tapez l’adresse IP de l’unité eco PDU.
Remarques : L’adresse IP par défaut est 192.168.0.60

Si une alerte de sécurité apparaît, acceptez le certifi cat - il est fi able. La page de
connexion apparaît.

Saisissez un nom d’utilisateur et un mot de passe valides, puis sélectionnez une
langue.
Remarques : Les identifi ants de connexion par défaut sont administrator et
password.

Cliquez sur Connexion pour faire apparaître la page principale.
eco DC
Toutes les unités eco PDU sont compatibles avec eco DC (interface graphique
Web de gestion de l’énergie et de l’ICD). eco DC vous offre une méthode facile
pour gérer plusieurs appareils, en proposant une interface graphique intuitive et
conviviale qui vous permet de confi gurer un appareil eco PDU et de surveiller l’état
de l’alimentation des équipements qui y sont connectés. Pour installer le logiciel,
scannez le code QR eco DC pour visiter la page Web du produit, puis téléchargez le
programme d’installation à partir de l’onglet Support et téléchargements.
SNMP
Les unités eco PDUs supportent tout logiciel de gestion SNMP V1, V2 et V3 de tierce
partie.
Pour installer le logiciel, scannez le code QR du site Web ATEN pour visiter la page
Web du produit, puis téléchargez le programme d’installation à partir de l’onglet
Support et téléchargements.

Systemanforderungen

Rackmontage
Der PE6216/PE6324 kann in einer 0U-Konfi guration an der Seite eines Racks installiert
werden. Verwenden Sie für die Rack-Montage des Geräts die mit dem Gerät gelieferten
Montagehalterungen. Die Halterungen können entweder an der Ober- und Unterseite
der Rückwand oder an der Ober- und Unterseite des Geräts angebracht werden.
Hinweis: Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollte die eco PDU nicht so installiert werden, dass
die Steckdosen direkt nach oben oder nach unten zum Boden zeigen, sondern nur
so, dass die Steckdosen senkrecht nach außen zeigen.

Installation
1
Verwenden Sie für jedes Gerät, das Sie anschließen möchten, das dazugehörige
Netzkabel, um es von der Steckdose des Geräts mit einer beliebigen Steckdose
der eco PDU zu verbinden.

Stecken Sie das Kabel, das die eco PDU mit dem LAN verbindet, in den LAN-
Anschluss der eco PDU.

Um Sensoren in Ihrer eco PDU-Installation zu verwenden, schließen Sie diese an
die Sensoranschlüsse auf der Gerätevorderseite an.
4
Schließen Sie das Netzkabel der eco PDU an eine Wechselstromquelle an.
Hinweis: Wir raten Ihnen dringend davon ab, die eco PDU an ein
Mehrfachsteckdosen-Verlängerungskabel anzuschließen, da sie möglicherweise
nicht genügend Strom erhält, um korrekt zu funktionieren.
Sobald Sie diese Installationsschritte abgeschlossen haben, können Sie die eco
PDU und die angeschlossenen Geräte einschalten.

Kabelsicherung
Für zusätzliche Sicherheit empfehlen wir Ihnen, alle Kabel mit ATEN Lock-U-Plug
Kabelhaltern zu sichern. Befestigen Sie die Kabelhalterungen mithilfe der speziell
dafür vorgesehenen Löcher an der eco PDU um die einzelnen Steckdosen herum.
Bedienung
Die eco PDU-Modelle bieten drei Methoden, um auf Ihre Installation zuzugreifen und
diese zu verwalten: Browser, eco DC (Energy & DCI Management Web GUI), und SNMP.
Browser
Die eco PDU kann über jeden unterstützten Internetbrowser von jeder beliebigen
Plattform aus aufgerufen und gesteuert werden.
Um die eco PDU über einen Internetbrowser zu bedienen, melden Sie sich zunächst an:

eco DC

Requisitos
• Los navegadores que acceden al dispositivo eco PDU deben ser compatibles con el

Montaje en bastidor
Las unidades PE6216 y Pe6324 pueden instalarse en una confi guración 0U en uno
de los laterales de un bastidor. Para el montaje del dispositivo en un bastidor, use
los soportes de montaje que se suministran con el dispositivo. Los soportes pueden
montarse tanto cerca de la parte superior e inferior del panel posterior como en los
extremos superior e inferior del dispositivo.
Nota: Por motivos de seguridad, el dispositivo eco PDU no debe instalarse con los
conectores de alimentación dirigidos directamente hacia arriba o hacia abajo con
respecto al suelo, es decir, sus conectores no deben orientarse verticalmente.

Instalación
1
Para conectar un dispositivo, conecte un extremo de su cable de alimentación al
conector CA de dicho dispositivo y el otro extremo a cualquier toma disponible
en el dispositivo eco PDU.

Enchufe el cable que conecta el dispositivo eco PDU a la LAN en el puerto LAN
del dispositivo eco PDU.

Para usar sensores en la instalación de su dispositivo eco PDU, conéctelos a los
puertos para sensores ubicados en el panel frontal de la unidad.

Conecte el cable de alimentación del dispositivo eco PDU a una fuente de
alimentación CA.
Nota: Le recomendamos encarecidamente que no enchufe el dispositivo eco
PDU a una alargadera multienchufe, ya que podría no recibir el amperaje
sufi ciente para funcionar debidamente.
Una vez realizado este procedimiento de instalación, puede encender el
dispositivo eco PDU y los dispositivos conectados.

Sujeción de los cables
Para una mayor seguridad, le recomendamos asegurar todos los cables en la
posición debida mediante sujetacables ATEN Lock-U-Plug. Asegure los sujetacables
usando los agujeros diseñados para tal fi n y ubicados en el dispositivo eco PDU,
alrededor de las tomas de corriente individuales.
Funcionamiento
Los distintos modelos del dispositivo eco PDU cuentan con tres métodos para
acceder a su instalación y gestionarla: Navegador, eco DC (GUI web de gestión de
energía y DCIM) y protocolo simple de administración de red (SNMP).
Navegador
Es posible acceder al dispositivo eco PDU y controlarlo a través de cualquier
navegador de internet compatible desde cualquier plataforma.
Para usar el dispositivo eco PDU desde un navegador de internet, lo primero que
hay que hacer es iniciar sesión:

En un navegador web, introduzca la dirección IP del dispositivo eco PDU.

eco DC

Montaggio su rack
Le unità PE6216/PE6324 possono essere installate in una confi gurazione 0U sul

dei sensori sul pannello anteriore dell'unità.

Collegare il cavo di alimentazione dell'unità eco PDU a una fonte di alimentazione CA.
Note: Si consiglia vivamente di non collegare l'unità eco PDU a un cavo di
prolunga multipresa, poiché potrebbe ricevere un amperaggio insuffi ciente per
un corretto funzionamento.
Al termine di questi passaggi per l'installazione, è possibile accendere l'unità eco
PDU e i dispositivi collegati.

Fissaggio dei cavi
Per una maggiore sicurezza, si consiglia di fi ssare tutti i cavi in posizione mediante
i fermacavi ATEN Lock-U-Plug. Fissare i fermacavi utilizzando i fori appositamente
progettati sull'unità eco PDU attorno alle singole prese di alimentazione.
Funzionamento
I modelli di unità eco PDU forniscono tre metodi di accesso e di gestione dell'installazione:

Browser

eco DC

Монтаж в стойке
PE6216/PE6324 допускает установку в конфигурации 0U в боковой части
стойки. Для установки устройства в стойку используйте комплектные
кронштейны. Кронштейны можно закрепить как сверху и снизу задней
панели, так и сверху и снизу устройства.
Примечание: По соображениям безопасности запрещается монтировать
eco PDU электрическими розетками вверх или вниз (к земле). Розетки
смонтированного устройства должны быть направлены вбок.

Установка
1
Для подключения питаемого устройства используйте кабель питания,
соединив им разъем питания переменного тока на устройстве с любой
свободной розеткой питания на eco PDU.

Используя порт LAN на устройстве eco PDU, подключите его к локальной
сети с помощью соответствующего кабеля,.
3
Дляиспользования датчиков совместно с установленным eco PDU,
подключите их к разъемам для датчиков на лицевой панели устройства.
4
Подключите кабель питания PDU к источнику питания переменного тока.
Примечание: Настоятельно рекомендуем не подключать eco PDU
к удлинителю, поскольку снижение силы тока может нарушить
работоспособность устройства.
Когда этапы установки завершены, можно включить eco PDU и
подключенные устройства.

Фиксация кабеля
По соображениям безопасности рекомендуем закрепить все кабели с
помощью кабельных фиксаторов ATEN Lock-U-Plug. Установите кабельные
фиксаторы в специальные отверстия возле розеток на корпусе eco PDU.
Эксплуатация
Модели eco PDU поддерживают три способа доступа к установленной
системе и управления ее работой: браузер, eco DC (веб-интерфейс
управления питанием и DCIM) и протокол SNMP.
Браузер
Получать доступ к устройству eco PDU и управлять им можно с помощью
любого поддерживаемого браузера на любой платформе.
Чтобы приступить к управлению eco PDU с помощью браузера, войдите на
устройство.

Откройте браузер, затем введите IP-адрес устройства eco PDU в
адресную строку.

— ему можно доверять. Появится страница входа в систему.

eco DC
Все устройства eco PDU поддерживают eco DC (веб-интерфейс управления

Requirements
• Browsers accessing the eco PDU unit must support SSL 128-bit encryption.
• For cold booting of attached computers, the computer's BIOS must support
Wake-on-LAN or System after AC Back.
• For safe shutdown:
• The computer must be running Windows (Windows 2000 or later) or Linux.
• The Safe Shutdown program (available by download from our website), must be
installed and running on the computer.

Rack Mounting
The PE6216/PE6324 can be installed in a 0U confi guration on the side of a rack. To
rack mount the device, use the mounting brackets that came with your device. The
brackets can be mounted either near the top and bottom of the back panel, or the
top and bottom ends of the device.
Note: For safety reasons the eco PDU should not be installed with the power
sockets facing directly up from or down toward the ground, and thus should only
be installed with the power sockets facing out from a vertical position.

Installation

For each device you want to connect, use its power cable to connect from the
device's AC socket to any available outlet on the eco PDU.

Plug the cable that connects the eco PDU to the LAN into the eco PDU's LAN port.

To use sensors in your eco PDU installation, connect them to the sensor ports on
the unit’s front panel.

Connect the eco PDU's power cord to an AC power source.
Note: We strongly advise that you do not plug the eco PDU into a multi socket
extension cord, since it may not receive enough amperage to operate correctly.
Once you have fi nished these installation steps, you can turn on the eco PDU
and the connected devices.

Securing the Cables
For added safety, we advise that you secure all the cables in place with ATEN Lock-
U-Plug cable holders. Secure the cable holders using the specially designed holes
onto the eco PDU around the individual power outlets.
Operation
eco PDU models provide three methods to access and manage your installation:
Browser, eco DC (Energy & DCI Management Web GUI), and SNMP.
Browser
eco PDU can be accessed and controlled via any supported Internet browser from
any platform.
To operate the eco PDU from an Internet browser, begin by logging in:

In a web browser, type the IP address of the eco PDU unit.
Note: The default IP address is 192.168.0.60

If a security alert appears, accept the certifi cate -- it can be trusted. The login
page appears.

Enter a valid username and password, and then select a language.
Note: The default login credentials are administrator and password.

Click Log In to bring up the main page.
eco DC
All eco PDUs support eco DC (Energy & DCIM Management Web GUI). eco DC
provides you with an easy method for managing multiple devices, offering an
intuitive and user-friendly GUI that allows you to confi gure a PDU device and
monitor power status of the equipment connected to it. To install the software, scan
the eco DC QR code to visit the product web page, and then download the installer
from the Support and Downloads tab.
SNMP
eco PDUs support any 3rd party V1, V2 & V3 SNMP Manager Software.
To install the software, scan the ATEN Website QR code to visit the product web
page, and then download the installer from the Support and Downloads tab.
