The Switch was designed for easy installation and high performance in an
environment where traffic on the network and the number of users increase
continuously.
It supports twenty-four 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports. These ports run both half
duplex and full duplex while they're running in 10Mbps or 100Mbps and
runs full duplex (arriving so to a speed of 200Mbps).
This model is gifted besides of 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (in copper)
1000BASE-T that they allow him to manage an elevated traffic of data
resulting therefore ideal for the connection to powerful server or for the
construction of a backbone to high speed.
And is endowed with port trunking function which allows to gather up to 8
ports (in 2 groups of 4) managing it as a single link with a 800Mbps
throughput (in full duplex).
The VLANs allow to segment the traffic of net improving management and
performances of it.
The flow control allows to check the state of the buffer of every port limiting
the congestion of the net. With the support of the Quality of the Service
(QoS) it is possible to assign a level of priority to every single port. This
makes the Switch able to support special services such as VoIP and
streaming.
