SMA Speaker Rear Panel
1. AC Inlet Connect the included power cord here. Note: power cord should only be connected to 120V
power outlets.
2. On/Off Switch This switch will turn the power to the integrated amplifier On or Off. When the power switch
is in the On position, the LED labeled “Pow” will illuminate Blue.
3. Amp Out This Speak-ON
®
connector is designed to connect the SMA speaker to a passive SMP model
to share signal. Turn Speak-ON
®
connector counterclockwise to unlock and clockwise to lock.
4. LED Indicators The unit features three LED indicators: Pow indicates the unit has power and will illuminate
BLUE when the power switch is on, Pro indicates the unit is in protect mode and will
illuminate RED (if the Pro LED is illuminated reduce the gain), and Sig indicates that signal is
present and will illuminate GREEN.
5. Mic IN XLR This balanced XLR connection is designed to provide signal from a microphone connected
directly to the unit.
6. Mic Gain Adjusts the gain level of the Mic In signal referencing the output voltage of the mic.
7. Mic Low Adjust the low frequency band of the Mic In between -10dB and +10dB.
8. Mic Mid Adjust the mid frequency band of the Mic In between -10dB and +10dB.
9. Mic High Adjust the high frequency band of the Mic In between -10dB and +10dB.
10. Line IN XLR This balanced XLR connection is designed to provide signal from a source like preamplifier
or mixer with an XLR output.
11. Line Out XLR This balanced XLR connection allows the user to connect one SMA speaker to another SMA
speaker in order to share the signal in applications that require the output of two powered
models.
12. Line Gain Adjusts the gain level of the Line In signal referencing the output voltage of the source.
13. Line IN Low Adjust the low frequency band of the Line In between -10dB and +10dB.
14. Line IN High Adjust the high frequency band of the Mic In between -10dB and +10dB.
15. Line IN RCA This unbalanced RCA connection allows for connection to external audio sources like CD
players, satellite radio receivers, computers, smartphones, etc.
