1. The configured mono source named “Mic-1” is displayed. As the list of input sources grows, the order can be sorted by selecting the
Move Up/Down icon at left.
2. Sources shows one of 14 (AZM8) green LED style indicator for each input source that is assigned to an input port.
3. “Gate” status indicator shows: Yellow = active (gate closed), Gray = gate open.
4. “De-Ess” status indicator shows: Yellow = the compressor in the De-Esser is compressing, Gray = no compression in the De-Esser.
5. “Comp” status indicator shows: Yellow = compressor is compressing, Gray = compressor is not compressing.
6. Input Level adjust – move fader or enter the desired dB level in window. When signal is present, fader animates as a pre-fader peak meter and shows:
Green = signal activity, Red = clipping.
7. Mute – Select to toggle mute state on/off.
8. Where the “>” icon is visible, it represents the settings link, in this case the Mic/Line Input Settings, and opens the General Settings page, along with
the DSP sub Tabs for: Gate, De-Esser, Compressor, Equalizer, Auto-Gain. All input sources have the same DSP sub-Tab pages.
Source Settings-General
Mic/Line-Mono
1. Mic/Line sources identify the input port selected.
2. Pre-set High Pass Filter Enable – a separate EQ filter placed before the Equalizer page allowing roll-off of low end before the gate and compressor,
allowing all bands of the equalizer to be used for other requirements. NOTE: In Stereo Mode, the DSP will affect both left & right channels.
3. 0dB to +60 dB of preamp gain available to fine tune input sensitivity.
4. Phantom power enable with voltage on pins identified for wiring.
5. When in the General Settings page, editing of the source name, color tag (click on color), and also delete source “X”, is available.
