ANSI/NFPA70,NationalElectricalCodeorCSAC22.1-Canadian
Electrical Code.
Becertaintheblowermotorissecurelyfastenedtothe
mounting frame on the stove.
Alwaysdisconnectthepowersupplytothestovebefore
performinganyserviceontheblower.

InstallationfromBackofCabinet
1. Usea1/4”nutdriverorsockettoremoveeight
#8x12sheetmetalscrewsandtheRearAccess
Panel. See fig. 10.1.
2. Use a 10 mm wrench or socket to loosen two M6
flangenutsandremovetheRetainerBarfrom
the Support Bracket.
3. AttachtheRetainerBartotheBlowerbodyusingthe
three#8x1/2”sheetmetalscrewssupplied.
4.EngagetheBlowerRetainerBarslotswiththe
flange nuts and tighten the nuts.
5. RoutetheblowerpowercordaroundtotheFCM.
6. ReplacetheRearBlowerAccessPanel.
7. PlugthepowercordintotheFANoutletontheFCM.
DONOTSWITCHTHEFCM“ON”UNTIL
FIREPLACEINSTALLATIONISCOMPLETE.
10.1BlowerInstallation
Read these instructions before beginning the installation.
Ifthefireplacehasalreadybeeninstalled,theblowermay
beinstalledfromthefrontasnotedbelow.
ThisaccessoryoperatesinconjunctionwiththeRemote
Transmitter.Seetheoperationinstructionsincludedwith
thetransmitterkitandtheapplianceOwner’sManual.

1. Disconnectthepowersupplyfromthefireplace.
SwitchtheFCMtoOFF.
2. Removetheapronpanelfromthecabinetfront
to access the control compartment.
3. Removethetwowingnutsthatsecurethe
controls compartment base to the fireplace
cabinet. Fig. 10.2.
Swing the compartment assembly out to access the back
of the cabinet.
4. FollowSteps2,3,and4above.
5. Relocatethecompartmentassemblybackintopositionand
route the blower power cord around the side to the FAN
outletontheFCM.Replacethecompartmentwingnuts.
6. Re-connectpowersupplytothefireplaceandswitchthe
FCMtoON.
