Connecting a Shadow Tracker Premier to a Computer
In order for the Tracking Unit to communicate with the Shadow Tracker Professional program on
your computer, it must be connected to a power supply. Whenever the Unit is connected to the
computer, it is to be powered using the AC Power Adapter supplied with the Unit. Do not use an
AC Power Adapter other than the one supplied by ATTI.
To connect a Shadow Tracker Premier to the computer:
1 Plug the AC Power Adapter into a standard 120 Volt AC wall outlet.
2 Connect the other end of the AC Power Adapter into the power connector labeled Power,
located on the side or back of the Tracking Unit. The LED light on the front of the Unit
will turn RED.
3 Connect the Download/Validation Cable to a standard 9-pin serial COM Port connection
on the computer. Then connect the other end of the cable into the connector labeled
Terminal, located on the back of the Tracking Unit.

OTE: Do not connect any other cable or device to the Terminal connector on the Tracking Unit
or damage will result. If you cannot locate a standard 9-pin serial COM Port connection on your
computer you should consult your computer retailer or manufacturer for assistance.
