Adjusting the Map Display
Basic Controls
Zoom In: Moves in for a closer and more detailed view of the currently displayed map.
To zoom in:
Do one of the following
Drag out a zoom box over the area you wish to zoom in on.
From the menu, click Map Operations > Zoom In
Keyboard shortcut “Ctrl” + “I”
Zoom Out: Moves out for a less detailed view of the currently displayed map.
To zoom out:
Do one of the following
Drag out a zoom box over the area you wish to zoom in on.
From the menu, click Map Operations > Zoom In
Keyboard shortcut “Ctrl” + “O”
Zoom Box
: Allows you to zoom in on a specified area of the map.
To draw a zoom box:
Place your mouse cursor on the map, while holding down the left mouse button, drag out
a selection box around the area you wish to zoom in on. Release the mouse button. The
map will zoom in on the area you captured in the selection box.
Pan
: Allows map to be repositioned in any direction you choose.
To use the pan feature:
Place the mouse cursor on the map, while holding down the right mouse button, move the
cursor in any direction to reposition the map.
Center Map: Centers the map on a specified point.
To use center map:
Place the mouse cursor on the point you want centered. Left-click the mouse. The map
will be redrawn and centered on the specified point.
