Audi S6 5 Refined sportiness. The new Audi S6 is so many things: a distinguished company car. A prestigious family car. A vehicle full of elegance and athleticism for daily use. No matter whether it takes the form of the Saloon or the Avant – it’s a picture of intelligent power. It’s not just the inner values of the S6 which make such an impact: its V8 TFSI engine with cylinder-on-demand technology, the quattro® permanent all-wheel drive and the individually programmable Audi drive select.
Audi S6 To properly stamp your authority, you have to adopt a clear line. The car’s elegant body is composed of light, crisp lines. The powerful tornado line that runs below the windows emphasises its sporty nature. The Audi S6 appears to be urging forward. The Singleframe grille with its horizontal double chrome bars in Platinum grey gives the front end an electrifying air, which is further reinforced by the bumper’s muscular styling.
Audi S6 Every detail of the rear end is brimming with sportiness too. The S logo can be found on both the vehicle’s tail and at the front. Broad side sills and two sets of chromed twin tailpipes mark the perimeters of the vehicle’s body. The Platinum grey rear diffuser features a striking metallic-look cross strut that gives it an especially sporty air. A rear spoiler puts the finishing touch to a superb visual performance. The fuel consumption and CO₂ emission figures can be found on page 54.
Unmistakably progressive – from both near and far. Efficient technology with a sensational look: the xenon plus headlights feature the characteristic strip of LED daytime running light as well as the highly intelligent adaptive light system to help you see round bends. As an option, innovative LED technology can be used for the entire headlight unit. The light from LEDs is almost as bright as daylight, giving you an excellent view of the road ahead.
Audi S6 Mighty performance needs firm control. And inner calm. Everything is at your command. The leather-covered sports an instant. Use it to switch on the Bang & Olufsen advanced steering wheel gives you control over various convenience sound system, for example, and then sit back in your seat functions, such as the radio and driver information system, to revel in the distinctly sporty ambience. The inlays in matt telephone and navigation.
Audi S6 The Alcantara/leather sports seats offer outstanding support, even when putting the car’s performance abilities to the test. They come with electric 12-way adjustment and a distinctively designed upper backrest section with embossed S6 badge. You can, however, also choose to have your S6 fitted with Super sports seats, featuring even more prominently contoured side sections and integral head restraints. To create even more loading space, the rear backrest can be folded flat with a 60:40 split.
Audi S6 Excellence which knows no bounds. The balanced proportions of a powerful silhouette – that’s the new Audi S6 Avant. A two-piece electrically operated panoramic glass roof offers you a whole new sense of freedom. Its roof spoiler generates additional downforce for the vehicle. Its 309 kW are accompanied by a mighty 550 Nm of torque and propel the Audi S6 from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds. With innovative cylinder management, the start-stop system and a new system of thermal management, this is one high-performance athlete that can boast excellent efficiency too.

Perfect for taking corners with masterful ease: the quattro® permanent all-wheel drive with optionally available sports differential effortlessly keeps the Audi S6 on track, while the optional ceramic brakes* bite with immense power if necessary. Audi S6 25 Audi drive select allows you to drive any road as the mood takes you – a total of five modes are available to choose from, which adapt the vehicle’s characteristics to how you feel. The efficiency mode can be selected for particularly fuelefficient driving. And allied to the new adaptive air suspension sport, Audi drive select paves the way for an even sportier experience at the wheel. The electronically controlled air suspension tailors the ride height to the chosen mode.

This keeps just four of the eight cylinders operating at partial throttle – without you noticing any difference. The engine continues to run smoothly and powerfully, but its fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions are reduced accordingly.
quattro® with sports differential With quattro®, we have created one of the best all-wheel drive systems in the world. Of course, that was not good enough for us. quattro® is a permanent all-wheel drive system. If the wheels on one axle of the vehicle lose grip on the road and threaten to spin, then the power is transferred to the other axle – automatically and permanently distributed through the centre differential.
quattro® with sports differential continuously varies the amount of driving force distributed to each rear wheel and ensures high cornering agility and thrilling driving dynamics.
adaptive air suspension sport Fully load-bearing air springs at the vehicle’s front and rear axles produce a sporty yet comfortable ride. Dynamism and comfort were once opposites. We’ve made the differences vanish into thin air. Every road is different. How nice, then, to not actually notice the difference! This is possible thanks to the suspension fitted as standard on the Audi S6, which adapts to many different driving situations and the road surface. We call it adaptive air suspension.
The virtually continuously variable damping automatically adapts to any driving situation with split-second speed. Even with an asymmetrically distributed load, the vehicle’s permanent self-levelling function keeps it at a constant ride height.

MMI® – Multi Media Interface Phone: The optional fitting for mobile phone (Bluetooth) or the Bluetooth car phone online have a menu screen with call lists, address book and selection interface as the initial setting. MMI® touch: You can “write” with your finger on the MMI touch. The system recognises letters and numbers. It can be used for navigation and for your phone. In jukebox mode, you can also thumb through the albums of your music collection with a brief stroke of the finger.
Audi connect Audi connect: Traffic information online You not only get the right route to your destination but the quickest one too. In addition to traffic flow information, traffic information online provides faster information on the formation and dissolution of traffic jams for dynamic route guidance as well as greater coverage of the road network. Audi connect: Travel information/weather provides weather forecasts and relevant information, such as charts and weather maps relating to the destination.
