Audi drive select
Modifies vehicle characteristics by e.g. adapting steering
power assistance and accelerator and gearshift charac-
teristics; modes available: comfort, auto, dynamic, indi-
vidual and efficiency. The efficiency mode shifts the en-
gine, transmission, optional adaptive cruise control and
adaptive air suspension, as well as the climate control,
into a fuel-efficient basic setting
Rearview camera
Visual display of the area behind the vehicle in the MMI
display; with dynamic display modes for the vehicle’s
calculated path (dependent on steering angle), including
help and guide lines for identifying the steering points
when parallel parking; rearview camera integrated in-
conspicuously into the handle of the luggage compart-
ment lid
360° cameras
Rearview camera integrated inconspicuously into the
handle of the luggage compartment lid, display modes
for front left/right side and rear left/right side for ma-
noeuvring safely out of tight parking spaces, courtyard
entrances or in multi-storey car parks; additional display
mode for the vehicle’s surroundings as virtual view from
above (bird’s-eye view), wide-angle cameras cover the
entire area around the vehicle. The driver can choose
from the various image views in the MMI display, based
on the data from the cameras: rearview view with se-
lectable guide lines for parking in parallel and end-on
spaces, as well as attaching trailers, front camera view,
front crossways, rear crossways and 360º view
Park assist function with surroundings display
Searches for suitable parking spots along the side of the
road using ultrasonic sensors, calculates the ideal path
for manoeuvring into end-on spaces as well as the ideal
path for manoeuvring into and out of parallel spaces;
completes the steering manoeuvre almost entirely auto-
matically. Parking is now also possible in smaller parking
spaces and on corners, parking manoeuvres requiring
several moves are supported. While the vehicle steers,
all the driver has to do is operate the accelerator and
brake pedals. The surroundings display warns of obsta-
cles at the side, based on the steering angle, and helps
you to manoeuvre into and out of parking spaces safely
without any scratches by indicating the correct steering
angle; can be supplemented by rearview camera or
360° cameras as an option
Cruise control
Keeps the vehicle at any speed from about 30 km/h, pro-
vided the engine output or engine braking effect is suffi-
cient; operated using separate steering column stalk
