matic mode the driver can choose between 2 programs
D (drive) and S (sports), gearshift characteristics can be
changed in automatic mode through Audi drive select
quattro®
permanent all-wheel drive with wheel-selective torque
control, self-locking crown gear centre differential;
distributes the driving forces depending on the driving
situation to each individual wheel for precisely
controlled sporty handling

The electronically controlled sports differential variably
distributes driving force to each wheel and ensures
outstanding acceleration performance in corners and
stabilises the vehicle’s response to load change. It also
improves direct steering characteristics and provides
more agile handling due to the lower steering effort
required.
Electronic regulation of the top speed at 280km/h
Recuperation
increasing the generator voltage converts kinetic energy
into usable electrical energy when the vehicle is coasting
or braking. This energy is used to assist the generator
during subsequent acceleration, saving up to 3 % fuel.
Integrated head restraint system
In the event of a rear-end collision, the design of the
seats stabilises the upper torso and provides better
support for the head. This increases the level of
protection and reduces the risk of a whiplash injury.
Instrument cluster
with black dials, red needles, and RS 4 logo in the rev
counter; automatic ready-check when engine is started;
with adjustable lighting, electronic speedometer with
odometer and trip odometer, rev counter, radio-controlled
clock (GPS clock in conjunction with MMI navigation plus),
coolant temperature display and fuel gauge

100km/h.
